not sure anyone is complaining, just noting that (as expected for a pick 40) he has a few things to work on to be a long term AFL playerGood mark and not afraid to use his good foot skills either.
Uses his speed to play on if the opportunity presents, spoils well - and still people complain???
Welcome to the club Harry.

Months ago, somebody alluded that we may have suggested (cough, cough) that he spend 2024 getting his body over any niggles. The person was probably guessing. But certainly, his 2023 season had him on club radars for all the right reasons.Way better than a pick 40. I got a bit excited on the draft thread and said he was top 20 any other year.
Maybe that's a stretch, but I'd suggest he's top 30 most yrs, likely in the 24-28 range, so he's a steal at 40. Even this yr I'm slightly surprised he lasted until pick 40 - very happy with this selection.
Likely won't see him (barring injury) until 2026 for a game or 2, more consistently 2027 on, but a great get imo.

His old man is our lawyer?
We’re so awesome sometimes, and by the looks of this kids highlights, he doesn’t look too far away from walking into our backline, super impressed!![]()
Welcome to the mighty Blues Harry. Taken under the solicitor father/son rule.
I reckon Liam Jones Mk 2 really. Hopefully without the brain fades.Looks a nice option - solid in the air, quick closing speed & very clean by foot.
Weiters has a protégé finally.
They absolutely nailed this pick. While there are other players who are better in certain areas as defenders, Harry seems to have it all spread out evenly. Good mark, kick, spoil, greast closing speed and likes to dash out of defence like Liam Jones did.Their very impressive with picking players around this range, haven't seen a lot of O'Farrell but I'm pretty confident we have got this right.![]()
Great judgement going back with the flight of the ball to spoil as well.Wow, he looks like a natural kick of the ball. Which is amazing for his height. Doesn't look awkward one bit.
He also has the confidence to run too? I'm impressed.
No current season stats available

we put him on the Weiters diet and training regime
The good young talls come on quicker now than in the past. If he stays fit during the coming season, reckon will push to be a staple in ‘26.A lot to like with this young fella. I agree with a previous poster that he moves like Harris Andrews. I love the way he takes the game on when he gets possession. Looks up straight away and takes the first option. And best of all, hos kicking technique for a big guy is excellent, those highlights showed he can execute. Great size as well
Really happy with the list management team. Stoked we have invested in the draft and identified the right talent. No pressure for Harry to play in the next 1 - 2 years and done great mentors around him to help develop his craft.
