Honestly I find the biggest thing he lacks is polish. He's quick and applies pressure well but he can shank the ball.
His first kick wasn't up to the level. If the knock on him has been he can't reliably kick then we have overpaid and Hawks were correct. Not only that we aren't a club that can afford to have more players who can't hit a target.

He also clearly needs to improve his fitness but that should come with time. Here's two clear reasons for him not to have played a game till now.

Gave us a much needed spark. I feel like he also brought Walla into the game as well.
Good game all things considered. Excited to see what he can bring us going forward.

Be surprised if he played this week, looked pretty cooked. Let's not send another bloke to a destiny of an injury riddled career. Just give him time to be ready again

He doesn’t really look like he has an AFL standard rig... are there any concerns about his training/discipline?

Genuine question, he seems like a good prospect
