Honestly I find the biggest thing he lacks is polish. He's quick and applies pressure well but he can shank the ball.
His first kick wasn't up to the level. If the knock on him has been he can't reliably kick then we have overpaid and Hawks were correct. Not only that we aren't a club that can afford to have more players who can't hit a target.

He also clearly needs to improve his fitness but that should come with time. Here's two clear reasons for him not to have played a game till now.
 
Hope he stays fit enough to string a few games together. Will need a big pre season as he has a bit to go as far as running out games go. Good start, made the most of his chances. Plenty to work with :thumbsu:

There aren't many 19 year olds with AFL standard rigs in his defence.
