I haven't seen marking like that from a Bomber since Lloydy.

I haven't seen marking around the ground like that since Hird (95/96).

Buckley didn't rate our forwardline.. and they paid the price.

And for the record.. if carlisle was able to do that against good opposition.. then I would rate him as a forward. I think if you go back to the pre-season discussion.. I had NO PROBLEM with Carlisle being tried up forward..

I also have no problem with Carlisle playing well down forward.. my ultimate passion WILL ALWAYS be our club winning and playing finals.. not being proven right on a BF board!

My doubts still remain about Carlisle but the two weeks playing down back seem to have boosted his confidence and hopefully he can dominate from here on out..

I'm inclined to think that he was more the victim of poor delivery early in the season. However, being unproven, people pointed the finger at him. That hit his confidence and led to some poor form for a few weeks.
He's back baby! :D
