Standout
Round 16, 2018 (versus Western Bulldogs): Punky had a day out against the Bulldogs at what was Etihad Stadium, racking up 24 disposals and kicking a career best-equalling six goals. Breust also laid seven tackles in a big game for the half-forward, as the Hawks thrashed the Bulldogs by 63 points on their home turf to push towards the finals.
Shocker
Semi-Final, 2018 (versus Melbourne): As the Hawks looked to bounce back after being beaten by the Tigers in the qualifying final, there was no doubt that Breust needed to step up and be a threat in front of goals for the Hawks. But he was completely rendered ineffective by Neville Jetta, who kept Breust to 13 disposals and no scoring shots at all, as the Hawks went down disappointingly by 33 points to end their 2018 campaign. This match marked the first time since round 17 (against Brisbane) that Breust had been kept goalless.
