Round 3, 2019 (versus North Melbourne): Shaped as the matchwinner for the Hawks at the MCG, booting five goals from 13 disposals, as the Hawks overcame the Kangaroos by 16 points. Five goals in the game was his best single-game haul for the season.

Shocker

Round 19, 2019 (versus Brisbane Lions): Well held by the Lions for the game, Breust tallied only eight disposals and was held goalless (kicked one point for the game) as the Hawks went down to the eventual preliminary finalists by 27 points.

Played well generally. Struggled at times when playing injured. Expecting the ball to enter F50 quicker
and more direct next year and he will show his class and get near the 50 goal season once again.

Looked really focussed and hungry in round 23. Was speaking to team mates a lot, dont think I saw that much before

One of my favourites and if he begins to teach some of his wares to younger small forwards like Hanrahan then yay

Breust is as good as he has always been. His bad years coincide with the club's bad years, such is the life of a small forward!
