Lol at the Pies fans who're acting as if they've just won the Grand Final. Yes, it was a good performance but too many people are overestimating the importance of this game imo. Sounds obvious but September is when it really counts.

No. Probably both broke even which is pretty good for the pies considering Selwood's insane last month.

I think selwood was pissed because jolly got him around the upper chest with a very strong tackle and brought him to ground. Probably thought it was dirty, but I thought it was just hard.
Make no mistake, that was a 10 goal thrashing disguised as a 22 point win.
Geelong could not have played better, had their obligatory 10 min burst of 6 goals, Selwood had his standard number of high tackles, kicked the ball with high precision, but were dominated.

To smash a top team like Geelong is a huge ask...the positive thing about tonight is that Collingwood was able to hold them back.

You are kidding yourself if you think Geelong cannot play better than that.
14.23 is the worrying sign. The stats sheet were correctly reflecting by scoring shots. Accuracy is the only issue. If we get close to breaking even it is the smashing the stats say it should be.

Of course they can. Whether they can play better than that against Collingwood while they are in this form bringing this pressure is another thing. While we are playing like this other teams tend to only play as well as we let them.

Had we kicked truer it would have been a 10 goal win!
How much better do you think you can play?
May I add that we were down to 21 men after 15 minutes of the game....
Because if that's the result when Collingwood are dominating nearly every aspect of the game; I'd hate to (love to) see it when the opposition team matches or even betters them in those statistical categories. If this is how Cloke, Macaffer and co. kick for goal in a H&A game, then how do you think they'll respond in a Grand Final where the pressure is even greater?
Why Geelong haven't beaten a side inside the top 6 yet. That's the form of out in straight sets.
They're basically 2nd on the ladder because of their easy draw and feasting on weak teams at Skilled Stadium. That's a 2010 fact.
