Up until mid 2016, he was terrific. His decline in form since then has been astounding. He was good against GWS though.
No Brownlow votes since mid 2016 for our #1 ruckman - that's a concern.

Sure, but it's a well-documented concern. We all know that he was below par the 2nd half of 2016 and poor in 2017 (there are obvious reasons for the decline, too).

He's been better this year, though until last week hadn't got anywhere near back to his best.

Yeah, that was the game where the injury was obvious, but the Bulldogs game 2 or 3 weeks earlier might have been when he first got injured.
Yeh good memory LTK. Top of the table clash wasn’t it?

He was carrying it for a couple weeks before he fully succumbed by half time in Sydney

25 Brownlow votes in 21 H&A games - basically one season from mid-2015 to mid-2016 - for a ruckman. The last ruckman to poll 25 votes in a calendar season was Jim Stynes in 1991...

..and then 0 votes in the 44 H&A games - basically 2 seasons - since.

If
you've got the fourth most hit-outs in history (behind Sandilands, Cox and Dempsey) ...

then
you've had a very, very good career. And after a couple of quiet years, Goldstein has fought back in 2018.

Are you including this year?

I watched the Giants replay again just now and some of Goldys in close hand passing lead to 3 goals.

He's actually playing well and if he has a good one on Sunday I reckon he will have grown a couple of dicks back, they maybe only Nicky Dal's at this stage, but they're coming back nonetheless..

200 games in the AFL is a magnificent effort, well done TG.
