Love his more aggressive all round attitude. He's throwing his body around a lot more and he is taking strong contestant marks as a result. Even when he was on track for AA a few years ago he didn't really use his frame around the ground, but now he has added that string to his bow and it makes him even more dangerous.

Whack away Andy........Im happy to stand by my statement earlier TPA.....he wasn't marking and Ive heard many times by commentary experts that say ruck man that only do tapwork are a waste ......but no I didn't raise the issue because it causes crap discussion and then it gets personal.
Why hasn't he done it earlier ?
He started to do so in the Geelong final and Im wrapped for the bloke.....and there is still room for him to hurt the opposition physically he still doesn't do it.

Now that Ive got the bad stuff out of my system today.........Being a perennial bagger I thought that the Golden one was terrific , how many over head marks did he take today, I thought I counted 4 ---> this is what I been screaming for in a ruck man all this time it just adds another dimension to his game when he does it it also make players down the ground ( for and against to rethink when seeing Goldy there ready to take a grab) more of this Todd and AA will be yours.
There you go andy.....you're a week behind.

Tongue in cheek mate.

I also questioned his physicality, it has improved out of sight.

Top game from Goldy taking more marks and tackling has been great. Elevated himself to number 1 ruckman so far
I don't know why people mention his tackle count.......it was ok before, it was overhead marking around the ground that he need to work on. And I still want him to hurt opposite players.

It's not just his marking and aggressiveness that has improved, his kicking today was ******* brilliant. He's always kicked well but today he was really damaging with his long kicking

If Lobbe is still unavailable next week, which seems quite likely, then it will go a long way towards us beating Port.

Just quietly, Port are a realistic chance of going 0-5 to start the season, which would hopefully stop the media circle jerk over them.
But BUt BUt..... never tear us apart!!!!

I hope we fecken tear them a newe one next week!

He's looking awesome, fantastic start to the year. That pick up and snap goal was crazy.....sort of thing you'd expect from Boomer not a huge ol dinosaur

That was just a brilliant all round game. Tapping, chasing, marking, passing, goalkicking - he played like five guys today, was everywhere, strong and committed and skilful and tireless. Loved it in the last when the crowd just rose for a sequence of play by him near the forward 50 on the members wing side. An absolute privilege to be there to see that performance.
