That finger issue that's been plaguing him... that he got surgery on.. not affecting pre-season at all :thumbsu::thumbsu:

David Myers was another player to go under the knife at the conclusion of last season but hasn’t missed a beat since hitting the track.

“David had his finger operated on, that hasn’t affected his preseason at all. He has got in majority of the training both pre and post-Christmas, and he’s in a really good place,” Crow said.

Really hoping this guy is just a back up this year - has never been a great player and seems to have lost pace (not that he was ever quick) and his disposal/decision making is below average also. He will be less needed this year now we have Stringer and Smith, and if we compare Myers to Langford & Laverde we just need one of these guys to lift their game a bit and find a bit more of the ball and we wont see Myers anymore. Both are already ahead of him in most areas of the game (except average possessions), and have way more upside;-

Myers age - 28, height/weight (approx) - 191/88, games - 100, ave disposals -17.8, tackles - 2.9, marks - 3.6, goals - 0.3
Langford age - 21, height/weight (approx) - 191/90, games - 31, ave disposals -13.1, tackles - 3.1, marks - 3.9, goals - 0.6
Laverde age - 21, height/weight (approx) - 191/88, games - 23, ave disposals -12.1, tackles - 3.2, marks - 4, goals - 0.6
