If my theory is correct we are gunna get one hell of a signing next week, because you can bet North are going in raw with no lube this weekend

well technically if your theory is correct we are either going to be competitive or win this week.

plus North are a bunch of turnips. They have not beaten anyone significant.

It's great that he wants back in but I feel a 3 year deal might be 1 year too many, hopefully he stays fit. Anyway, looking forward to him being an inside bull and his cannon left boot!

He seems to live for the club and he oozes leadership. Even if it is one year too many, I feel he'd be the kind of bloke to play VFL without complaint and be an unofficial on field coach.

Then there's the question mark over whether Watson will re-sign or not. By signing Myers on we've retained at least one of our midfield bulls which will be important for the development of the young guys. If we retain Watson as well, bloody happy days.

No matter what way I look at it, it's a good signing.

it's not one year too many. That's just... just crazy, with absolutely no basis. He's in the prime of his career, and when he's been able to perform injury free he's been outstanding.

3 years is what he deserves. Hell, I wouldn't have an issue if they had have given him 4 on the basis of loyalty alone but 3 is probably the goldilocks outcome

The only way David will be playing VFL for the foreseeable future is if he's coming back from injury.

When fit he is a vital part of our side.

No argument from me, my comment was in response to the "one year too many" suggestion. Even if it were to turn out to be true, I can still see a silver lining given the character of the man.

As someone said earlier, 12 months off to get his body right could prove very beneficial. I look forward to him again seeing him walk through a pack with 3 guys trying to bring him down but not being able to do it. I miss that.
