I only learnt about this recently: the AFL and Champion Data run the player profiles on the club websites. (I might be years behind on this news!)

A few club websites have recently started to put this disclaimer on their pages:

Why then are some clubs squad lists so much more up to date than others?

Some clubs don't update their squad lists because they are too embarrassed.
