I remember back in 2003 when Port got out to a 10-4 lead in the Showdown head-to-head record and thinking, we'll probably never get in front again. In sport it's so difficult to string together consistent wins, particularly in a comp with equalisation measures.

Incredibly, by 2008 we had squared the ledger, but never once hit the front until 2017 - the first time we had our noses in front since the year 2000.

Time to put Port through a similarly long period of dominance.

Yes. The first SD of the year is an odd number, plus 2018 was the 22nd year = 44, this was 46 so they must be counting The Dream Final.

Should count for 2 being a final, although the Showdowns are their grand final.....

Just need to see Kennys reaction last year when they won, coaches don't carry on like that when they win a real grand final.
