I ebb and flow, just depressed about the whole thing, Cunner's will be new favorite now alongside Loogie.
I know how ya feel. It hurts, he should still be here.

I haven't been around on this for long, but one thing I love about everyone here is they absolutely love the CLUB.

The CLUB is bigger than ONE player or coach always. Unless you're *.

We
Pickering is evil and clearly trying to protect his client by playing the "North could have signed him earlier" card. But it makes me angry that the club missed its chance to lock him away.

As you can say, all we can hope for now is that we find a way to turn this into a win-win. Make it happen Scoopy.
we were too busy locking basti and patch away mid season and their form was sensational at the time and after that!!!! F......ING angry right now, I think the supporters rated Levi higher than the coaching staff!!!!

So was Greenwood still away in Bali when he called Brad Scott to request a trade? That seems pretty poor to me, the kind of thing you would want to tell someone face to face. Fair enough if you want to leave but don't be a coward about it.
Not sure if serious?
I think it speaks volumes of Levi to make the phone call after attending your B+F.

Cowardly is sitting in a pub on your own instead of going to your B+F.

I feel for Basti, it's make or break and always plays his footy best on the inside and hopefully Jacobs can play there more.
I don't feel for him at all. He's put himself in this predicament by being lazy and not doing the hard stuff. Hopefully he buckles down now in pre-season and cements the inside position before Dumont or he's going to find himself on the outer again. I also expect to see Mcdonald running through the midfield a lot more next season too, blokes gonna be the next luke hodge.

I feel your rage my young padiwan, but be comforted in the knowledge going forward we may get many bags of potato crisps for them in the future.
Seriously however I have seen patch show a fair bit more ticker onfield than I think I have ever seen the fairy penguin show.

Just out of interest, if we get lowballed by Collingwood and don't get a trade done in time. What would the chances of Levi turning around and going "OK I'll stay" instead of going into the PSD.

This is best case scenario. Hopefully we play hard ball and he decides he doesn't want to risk the PSD.

I don't care or blame him for choosing Collingwood as we have ****** him around for 3 years, but I would happily have him back with open arms if he decided otherwise.

Look at our list. We have lots of middle 20 year olds who will be coming off contract. If we offer a bloke who played one good year more than he was worth and the other players know it, it hamstrings us when other players come off contract and we might lose a really important player.

And I remind myself of Phil Baker who in 1975 played 5 games and left for Geelong in 1976.

In 1977 he returned to NM, lesson learned.

Or Stuart Anderson, 1996 NM premiership player, who in 1997 left for the cash at Fremantle and was soon out of the league to be replaced by Winston Abraham, premiership player in 1999.
Pretty sure Snake was heart broken to be traded, and after a year made sure he got back home. whatever it took he wanted to play for North Melbourne.:)

I think we should try and get them to entertain Levi + 16 for pick 5.

Not trying to sound like a smart Alec DP, but surely you know there is zero chance of that happening.

A pick in the low 20's is the best pick you'll get from us.
Keefe is an interesting one.
204cm key back with pace and a neat kick and solid mark.
If Roos were interested I think that we would deal on him.

I'm not filthy at the club at all i'm filthy on Levi. Goodbye and good riddance to an average footballer who basically only put together one good year in 7 years. What we dont need are selfish team members who put themselves first before the team. He was on good money for predominantly a VFL player for years and as soon as he if offered more money and 1 year extra he high tales it out of here.

Here's hoping we get a decent player or pick for compo. I look forward to seeing him around the traps or at the footy next year because he is going to cop it.
