Apparently Draper is 205 and Reid and Bryza are both 202…
Nick Bryan has to be every bit of 205cm as well if Zach Reid is 205cm.
Draper at the back and spongy grass, so better to evaluate Bryans Height next to Reid.

Is that Ned Cahill in the front row next to Jones.

Any shot he'll be ready by round 1?

Worried about our ruck situation if he's out
Unlikely.
2MP and Blackiston will have to ruck early or maybe Vigo if he has a solid pre season.
It is what it is.
I would be more worried if we where in the top 6 window.

Vigo should ruck early with Blackiston/Wright relief.

It's likely that one of Ridley or McKay will be injured given their injury luck at round 1.

I think given Vigo has had a taste and with Bryan coming in, its essential we give Vigo a chance early while he is fresh off a big preseason, then when Bryan is back he can go back to VFL and work there, but not doing as many kms as he would in AFL.

Preseason Blakiston vs Vio in the ruck duels will be interesting.

Looked like he played around 60% TOG. Really frustrating that he comes back the week before a VFL bye as I feel like if he were there a week earlier he'd be a genuine shot at GR to play, but think we have to give him another VFL game (hopefully in the 80-90% TOG areas) before playing ANZAC Day.

Of course, they may decide to bite the bullet against Gawn and potentially drop one of Blakiston, McKay or rest Reid. Give him similar TOG to yesterday and then build it up at AFL level.

Thought for a 203cm guy off such a long layoff, as good as he could look for me tbh

Really helped us with some of his hits, and he actually still has some leap there

Well said. Some of the shepherds he put on were really nice.

Should be better for the hit out. Hopefully he simply finds some strong form as the season goes on. Still pretty young for a number 1 ruck.

I thought he competed pretty hard and successfully nullified Jackson’s influence. Nothing flashy yet but some nice signs of life.
hes not a jackson level player but his ground level work impressed me, just needs to find a way to have more influence on the game in the air forward or behind the ball

He’s very similar to Tim English who basically didn’t do big man stuff in the air initially, but seems to have developed it in his late 20s.
Hope he can improve along those lines.
Certainly not get beaten in the air.
