Will be top 3 in b&f. Been huge for us all year.

I'd love to revisit the centre clearance stat they showed at some stage. If he can have another off season like the last he's going to be huge for us again next year.

Said it last week, will say it again....if he can dig deep and get the extra 5-10% out of himself they would come from diet, extra conditioning etc then he can rip the comp apart.

He is becoming a very good approximation of Dustin Martin at his very best.

Anyone got a gif of Stringer's last goal

Turned the game which is incredible considering

Worsfold revealed that Jake Stringer, who turned the game after being shifted into the centre in the second half, had been ill during the week, “so we weren’t planning to use him in there as much, but the circumstances were that we thought we needed to put him in there”.

Jake showed great leadership in that moment. Watch how he gets goal side of his opponent as the ball is coming down to the ruckman and give a beautiful little push in his side at exactly the right moment to send him off balance and give himself space to receive the backward tap from Clarke.

Clarke did well to immediately turn and stick his backside into the GC ruckman and get his arms out to shepherd him away from Stringer giving him no chance to lay a hand on him.

Stringer then takes off like a hare and does the right thing in a desperate moment to boot the s**t out of it as far as he can directly at the goals.

In fact, I think he had the presence of mind to not go the straight drop punt and opt for the tumbling torpedo punt knowing if it hits the ground it’s going bounce forward.

Jake Stringer. Creative genius and cool under pressure.

A glorious moment that will live in our hearts for many years to come.

Offseason objective: Build up a tank, play predominantly mid.

When he's in there, things happen.
