The continued one on one contest loses were bad. He was pretty ordinary. He can play better than that but let’s face it he is a guy we got for cheap to plug a hole for a bit while younger players come through.

I didn’t mind him in the pre-season games. Thought he looked solid enough and didn’t have an issue with his selection.

That said, if we’re serious about standards being lifted he should be dropped immediately. Physical commitment must be a non-negotiable and he didn’t bring it last night.

Forget structures, team balance and anything else - no spots for players who don’t compete.

Agree. It is one really poor game but it is a worry. The issue may be there is no one coming up behind him to take his place just yet.

Getting outpositioned/outmuscled by Ginivan wont win you any fans. Hard to judge off one game, needs to have time to settle and adjust to the team/gameplan. First game in vs an in form hawthorn in front of a massive crowd, wouldn't throw in the towel just yet. Personally I don't think he is in the best 22 with a fully fit squad but in a stronger backline he is good depth.

No worse than Redman, Shiel, McGrath or McKay who all have a heap more experience. Roberts and Reid no better either but willing to give them a pass given their age. I’d keep him in the side to be honest, he’s a better user than all of those players listed above. Give McGrath the pure lockdown role and let him be a distributor, he’s can actually kick the footy!

I come in peace. I had high hopes for Priz. I know he is struggling right now. But think with some continuity he may still turn out alright. He should of marked that last one. With some confidence he would of.

nah hey i agree, just frustrating because it’s been 3 weeks of ordinary decisions and shocking ball skills. want him to do well but i think he’ll be on his last legs
