So so pleased for Robbie. I, along with a few others, have defended him against the so-called 'haters' for years and it's wonderful to see him finally (start to) show why he is highly rated internally.

Once Hansen comes back I will finally feel some confidence that we've got a back 6 worthy of going deep in September

What I like about Tarrant is, yeah he might lose a few contests here and there, but he's the body shape we just don't have back there, he can free up Thommo or Hansen, and he's always had good endurance and closing speed, what surprised me is his decision making and composure with 2 games there.

I'll give it to him, his marking was confident, strong and reliable. It was a big turn from the concrete hands which he did have and cannot be explained away simply by injury. He did look more mobile, still wouldn't say fast but good athleticism.

Simply put, he played like the player we hoped for when he was drafted and I couldn't be happier for him and I couldn't care less if he proved me wrong, which he did, because while I may not have had hope for him as a player, he is a Roo and until he is off the list, we should always hope for the best.

These "concrete" hands are a myth.

There can be only one...
Tarrant looks good down back, if the unthinkable happens and we get to see our best team on the park, in two weeks, do we push Tarrant forward?

You know, everyone largely available. In the D50, would Grima and Hansen come back in?
OK well i think Tarrant is bigger stronger and has better disposal... so im not sure if Grima come straight in.
what would you think?
Hansen comes in yes, but Thomson can play on smalls so shift him over.... not all teams are as tall as Geelong but Firrito was on a 200cm player today...
I want to see Big Robbie clunking them in the back half... and be that big bodied backman that we require... so no keep him back!

If this is where he does his best work from now on, you move a player from what could be his best position 'just because', essentially. Must be the Harry Taylor syndrome.

Let's not push Brown out again.
