Tarrant cops it as he is not up to standard. He drops marks a key forward needs to take. He offers nothing at ground level.

He hasn't kicked a goal in 3 games.
He is up to standard when he is getting good delivery.

His marking was good when he first come back from
Injury but it has dramatically decreased since then.

At least someone else saw what I saw.

The three forward setup has been average for the past month. Yet Tarrant is the only
One copping any criticism.
Its the easy way out for them. Yes he was poor, but so was Petrie and Black while not poor wasnt much better.

He's probably played three average games in a row now after being solid earlier on, but hey lets get rid of!. Love this board.

Just remember a time a couple of years ago people were calling for a certain individual to be traded and that he was a liability. That man is now our leading goal kicker. A couple of bad games, geelong performance while he didnt kick a goal was actually pretty good if you take into account the impact Harry Taylor end up having. After a couple bad ones suddenly he is no good and never will be. Hell some were saying the same about Hansen and he's turned it around. How about a little faith.

Hansen has elite traits.

Nah mate. We need to find some VFL players who have done sweet FA, trade our best players and try to win a flag with Werribees list.

Not as a forward he never.

What do you see that makes you certain Tarrant wont make it?

A match winning key forward needs to be elite in something, tell me, what are Tarrant's defining natural abilities?

We accept near enough is good enough, but then, i suppose you can only play the cards you are dealt. I hope he does make it, it's imperative imo if he's still on the list, or there isn't someone to overtake him. Petrie ain't going to be around for ever, and even Petrie... We need a bloke that's the equivalent of Ziebell in one of our key forwards. A ******* match winner.

Has only kicked 5 behinds in the last 3 weeks by my calculations. Not good enough.:(Time to give Daw another crack.
So he's down on form i can cop that, but that doesnt mean he wont make it.

Daw probably will get a crack, i suspect Black may be sitting out a week.

I dont think he will be elite, but theres only ever 3 or 4 of them at a time.

At underage level, he was very good overhead. Maybe the shoulder reco's have spoiled that side of his game but il back him in that once he finds some form that he is a very good mark, not elite but very good. Accuracy is normally good, down lately but thats down to form and confidence.

You may like to think or dream it, but we arent going to have 3 elites tall forwards in the same generation. How long between drinks has it been after Carey.

I would give him a run in defence. Delaney is still suspect IMO. Grima is solid, but has an unreliable body.

Physically Tarrant is as imposing as anyone we have on the list, he just cant take a mark to save himself.

Tarrant wouldn't look like such a spud if he changed the way he holds the ball at set shots. He holds it on a totally different angle when kick in play.

As mentioned above if it was 5 goals over 3 games instead of behinds he would look better than he has shown.

Get Daw in for him.

A ruckman and dangerous forward. Brad has put Maj on the scrap heap pretty quick. It just wouldn't happen at other clubs.

Eddie does talk him up a bit when he calls our games.
Eddie loves him.

You will never ever see me talk down one of our players (it's a flaw, I know) but I tend to think Robbie is our best value trade bait. I think he's still got room to grow but I also think, with Black coming on, he's collateral. I hope to hell he manages to string it together but sadly I don't think it's at North.

Needs to learn?
Buddy he's not 19.
He's not good enough. And never will be.
We need a better third tall if we're going to play one who offers something different. Tarrant doesn't offer enough and has no distinctive quality as a forward.

same shit was said about Hansen.

Other clubs would have employed a specialist forward coach for one on one work with Majak Daw. Having him play each week at Werribee isn't enough.
