Yep, killed them Taz.

Lets put another 5 years in "development" (Ie: free money for doing SFA), have supporters hide behind shoulder injuries, and well geez, he has big arms after all and a great guy....but....but...but....oh that's right, he actually can't play.

How dare the club fool us by sending him in for 3 unnecessary shoulder reco's!!!!

Against Melb and the Cats he covered a ridiculous amount of ground and against the dees pumped it in to f50 heaps. He clearly was playing a defensive role against the cats.

Today he was poo poo, but he was hardly on his own there, and by my calculations that makes one bad game in a row.

I'm confused.

Why are you posting? Does your post prove or disprove what I wrote?
Why am I posting? F*** me dead!

It's obviously questioning what the f*** (as WTF stands for) you mean by the comment of yours that I quoted. So, what did you mean?

Spare me TT.

It is shithouse no doubt having a shoulder reco ( or 3/3/4), but it doesn't excuse shit performances and basically running around like a (slow) goose most games. If he can't perform for those reasons he shouldn't be selected, just like any other job.

If you want to excuse all his deficiencies based on shoulder fine, no worries.

I like it how one bad game all of a sudden becomes "most games".

I think TT was questioning why you state that his shoulder reco's are being used as an excuse when no one except yourself has mentioned it!

I like Tarrant but we can't keep everybody. We just locked Daw and Curran in for two and three years. I don't know Tarrant's contract status but to me he would be the most expendable. Carlton, Collingwood, Fremantle and maybe St Kilda or the Lions would be interested.

.............and the Tarrant support squad are out in force. What a surprise.

I can't be f'd arguing it as i'll always lose as he is either;
- "the next big thing, good judges can see it"
- "he had poor delivery"
- "he has had shoulder op remember"
and so on.

Carry on without me, sorry to critique a player on output alone.

2 Contested Marks, 6 Disposals, 0.1 on the scoreboard....

hmmmmmmm

we better give him a contract extension. we don't want rival teams stealing our gun KPF !!!
Gees mate, be careful.

You risk the wrath of those who see Tarrant (regardless of ability) and will hammer you purely for having a different view. But yep, lock him in along with Wright and so on to stop all the poaching clubs for our duds..... o_O

I don't think anyone is arguing about his performance today, but it would be nice to have some constructive critiques on his output over the last season and a half, not just today.

Maybe it's all of the posts about trading him that have the "Tarrant support squad" out in force.

Tarrant is the least of our problems. For some reason we went back to bombing long into 50 which as usual failed badly.

Forwards have no chance when a team fail to lower their eyes when kicking into 50. I lost count how many times Tarrant and Black were torched on the lead.

We have the best key position depth in the comp yet everyone wants to severely weaken that by trading away Tarrant, Delaney and Grima.

Tarrant is a roo and he will stay a roo. He is not surplus and he is not expendable.

It will click for Taz much like it has clicked for Hansen. From All accounts he is the hardest worker at the club and he is busting his ass trying to correct his flaws.

If daw had the same workrate as Taz he would have been playing
Ahead of him. Fact is he doesn't.

I didn't say trade him. He might come good who knows.

I just don't think it is fair to select someone who generally plays shit over and over again, but then hide behind injuries. Which one is it for his apologists? He is either fit and thus selected, or he doesn't play for those mentioned (probably valid) injury concerns?

Can't be both and for a so-called club striving for high performance its pathetic to hide behind such excuses.
