Very fast. 2.88 in the 20m sprint and a 7.94 in agility, with good endurance all at 195cm. Seems like an athlete, but can he play footy?
Just browsing through a couple of old player threads and found this. Imagine how good Hooker would be if he hadn't had those hamstring problems and kept his pace.

Clearly has been working on his goal kicking which is no suprise with this bloke.

Its one of the joys of supporting your footy club to see players make the most out of themselves and he's a great example of this.

This is what leadership is. Every great side needs a Hooker.

He's still not a forward. He's just an exceptional mark.
Disagree. He's shown he can mark on the lead as well in pack situations and has shown quite a bit at ground level. Just about the ideal key forward to play with Daniher, Langford and Laverde because he demands so much attention from the opposition and is a far, far better get out of jail long bomb option because he has the strength and will to compete.

If he doesn't play forward last night we fall down at half forward and lose by 7-8 goals IMO.

Like I said, he's an exceptional mark so he can do things like that. But his forward knowledge/awareness is lacking. As a long bomb option, he's great. But long term it's not feasible.

If he plays back last night maybe Ryder doesn't kick 4 goals on Steinberg.

If Carlisle plays back or forward last night Ryder doesnt kick 4 goals. Shame we dont have carlisle right now.
