I think the set-up next year (Jake will stay or I'll eat my hat) will look something like this-
Baguley, Hurley, Pears (gun defender, far more deserving of a spot than Gwilt)
Hibberd, Carlisle, Browne
Stanton, Watson, Goddard
Zaharakis, Daniher, Zerrett
Edwards, Hooker, Langford
Fol- Belly, Heppell, Hocking

Int- Laverde, McKernan, Myers, Jerrett

Some very stiff to miss, I.e Nobby, Dempsey, Fantasia, Milkshake, Kommer, Cooney (maybe) and the Irishman (could be the best of the lot).
I like this team a lot, but are you worried about the one-paced nature of the midfield, especially with Goddard and Stanton playing in the ''outside'' roles? I'd like to swap Goddard to a HBF and Browne spending more time on the wings next year.

Also, we desperately need a new number one ruckman, I have no faith in belly anymore

Yeah the midfield does look a bit slow but I think if Zaka regains his zip then Browne, Laverde, Edwards and Colyer (how the hell did I forget him!) will give us enough outside dash. I think Belly can easily be our number one, we weren't disgraced in the middle when he was injured but when he's fit I think he's our go to ruckman.
