If McKernan is spending long periods in the ruck then he has to play forward. You need a strong marking target, it straightens us up so much.

And I’ve always been in the Hooker = back camp.

But a big marking target like that is just too important.

Sort out the backline with Ambrose, Hartley, Francis and BZT.

It's also so huge for Tippa too. Because it gives him his reference point to work back on. When we don't have that he gets stuck wandering around up field or too deep or himself becomes the bailout.

But tbh you put hooker anywhere on the ground he will make an impact.

Defensively he is not like he was earlier in the year looks slow to react sometimes (could be carrying an injury ) reckon he has become a better target inside 50 and is a genuine matchwinner gives us a strong presence and should stay there, hartley was good last week combining well with ambrose and was stiff to miss against gold coast
