“We’ve found a very talented athlete in Kiara, who also has a background in gymnastics. She is coming back from a knee injury, which shows resilience, especially as through the injury she taught herself how to kick on her non-dominant foot.

“Kiara is great in the contest and has very strong hands. As for where we will see her play, she is versatile player who can play back and forward, and eventually midfield as we develop her skillset.”

Beesley, a QBE Sydney Swans Academy product, played 4 senior games in the red and white in 2022 having played her local footy for Southern Power in the Sydney AFL competition. The defender suffered a knee injury this season which hindered her campaign for selection.

Well, the record of trampoline champions converting to footy isn't as good as for Gaelic football. Thanks Kiara. I hope you continue to be a Swans fan and keep playing footy! I'm sure you will.
