Now to get all of the soft campaigners out of the team and the turnover merchants and we might just improve. Might.

And the same players make the same fundamental errors week after week be it positioning, decision making or skills.

The club is cooked across all levels.

It is. But, we're improving slowly. Yesterday was a decent effort for 3/4 away from home. I'm focusing on the positives as GC17 are a decent side now. They'll likely make Top 6 with a bunch of ~kids. Well ahead of us given they have more than competent talls and some defensively minded mids.

If this predicament continues when Wardlaw is back in, we're ****ed. I just happen to believe he is very important to our structure.

I'd love to see Wardlaw & Urquhart at some point and will hold off ultimate judgement until they've had a decent run at changing our stars from a defensive point of view.

In the space of 12 months we've gone from being competitive for 20 minutes to 80 minutes per game.

Yes it's slower than some of you expected but it's still progress of sorts - we were a LONG way back. 2027 is the year IMO. We'll be hard to shake by then, another 2 years of this is all we have to deal with, really.

Recon Parker needs to roll up his sleeves during the week. Needs to try and have more off field influence on standards. Surely he can see what a shit show we are now and have some tough convos with some of our boys (and coaches)

He shouldn’t be in the midfield at all. Put him in the FWD or backline and have him direct the boys, pinch hitting in the middle when needed. He had 22 CBAs today with one tackle. Behind LDU he had more CBAs than any other north player. If he’s not going to play the defensive mid role then get him out of the midfield.

Yep he can still have a positive impact off field and come back when he’s ready to tackle.

He shouldn’t be in the midfield at all. Put him in the backline and have him direct the boys,

brilliant idea.

Have him behind the ball like Brisbane did with Hodge.

Hes courageous, takes a decent grab, reads the play and could use his foot-skills coming out of defence.

Put McKercher back on the wing (or in the 2’s for Scott) and put FOS in Parker’s current role of fwd/mid.
