My wife wondered why I was really pissy on the last day of trade week when Sydney pretended to play hardball with him. He is an immense leader and even better, he's invested.

I think I've said it in this thread before, but I was absolutely gutted when his trade went through. Watching him salute 300 in blue and white stripes was brutal.

He's always had leadership in spades from early on in his career. I remember vividly a game I was at where we were down at half time and although he was still relatively young, as they started to come off the ground, he brought them back into a huddle and gave everyone a bit of a gee up. Even the captain and senior players seemed to have a huge load of respect for him.

It's no surprise that he's absolutely bought in on what North are doing. Hopefully he keeps inspiring your next generation of talent!

Rightfully burned Larkey when he refused to lead at the ball carrier and told him what he should be doing. Keep telling him, every damn week, until he gets it.

Leader.
Superb.

When the game was getting away from us in the 3rd, it was criminal he was frozen out of the middle.
Whatever plans Clarko has for Powell and Wardlaw and co, Parker can’t be pigeonholed at half forward when we’re getting smacked in the middle.

Came up clutch with the his first goal of the night.

And then look at his 4th quarter stats.
8 disposals, 7 of them contested, 3 clearances, 2 tackles and a goal.

That goal was Ron Jeremy worth riding in his heyday.
