From bog ordinary in R1 to BOG in R7.... what a turnaround!

Would be interesting to see if he was given 4 & 4 or 5 & 3, as the latter would mean one coach gave McGovern 4 and the other gave McKay 4, while the former means someone gave Cripps 5, the other donuts.

Moving across from GWS as an unrestricted free agent at the end of 2024, Haynes featured in every game this year, earning a spot as a fan favourite amongst the Navy Blue faithful.

I was hoping to write something like this, but after Round 1, I couldn't see myself doing it. His game was probably the worst I've seen from an experienced player.
How things have changes (for the better)! Let's hope that 2026 can be like (most of) 2025!

I wrote him off after round 1. I was there, it was horrible.

He's written himself back in ever since.

Has been as good as you could hope from a free veteran pick-up. Amazing turnaround and looked better as the season went on.
