So there’s big wraps on this kid huh?
He played mainly midfield for Woodville west Torrens and was a high possession midfielder. However at the champs he was forced to play HF. Once his name was called I went back and watched his couple of SA champs games and this kid has a lot of speed and footy smarts, I don't know how he was a virtual unknown but when you see him play, he gives the impression that he could be a very good AFL player. I think we may have snagged a good one here.

Interesting that training watchers have noted his skills. Honestly, that wasn’t something I expected to hear about him. From what I’d read and heard thus far was he’s like a smaller version of McCreery. An explosive low possession forward that can challenge tackles, create over lap. Perfect half forward attributes albeit limited.

But now I’m reading he’s got good skills, smarts and has racked up high possession games as a mid at a lower level….

Well well well, what do we have here tigers 🤌

I can hear the commentators now calling out the puke jokes.
Peuker is making the "insert team here" faithful puke.
Pukerid from puker
Puker pukes up the ball
Puker vomits the ball forward

Clean, skilful and make things happen.
Running capacity is absolutely miles off AFL level right now but that doesn’t mean a lot. Can be a little greedy inside 50 but the right coach will fix this.

Definitely could be a very useful AFL level talent, has some handy tools.

In his Rookie me description his negatives were his tank !

But in Caesers last training report he mentioned this kid along with MRj was the 2 players that ran up and down the ground all training session that went for 3 hours non stop and could not see any negatives regarding his stamina and ability to keep going the entire session. And Caeser is a very good judge of players at training

Give this boy another 18 months and i think he will have that part of his game ready to go
similar to Alger who is burning up the track this year at preseason

Im very excited about our later picks in Seth , Alker , and Phucker

I do wonder if sites like Rookie Me base their negatives of a tank simply by their 2km run time.
It could simply be an instance of a player not training the 2km run enough and not knowing the pace to run at

FORWARD SPOT FOR PEUCKER?

While much focus has been on top draft picks Sam Cumming and Sam Grlj, the Tigers think they have found a beauty in No.31 pick Zane Peucker. The 179cm forward has been a pre-season standout in the eyes of some at Punt Rd, bringing his speed, power and run-and-carry game to the track. If he keeps it up, he could be looking at making an early debut, with some of Richmond’s small forward spots up for grabs.

Will be behind a few to start with.

Campbell, MRJ, Mansell would be the three first picked small forwards.

After these three it’s a group of Alger, Green, Peuker as the next three to get a look at small forward roles.

You’re also fighting for forward spots with Hotton, Lalor, Cumming who will rotate forward.

Reckon Alger will lock down a spot by the end of the season.

Alger is going to be a beauty

Very little spoken about him with all the 1st round and high picks but this kid
HAS THE TOOLS & FOOTY IQ to be special
