Truth is, Darling should have been left out weeks ago. He's worsened each performance since then. With Maley in, time to spell him.

Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
Theres a LOT of development that needs to happen before we are even close to that predicament.Yes, well we don't seem to inclined to get him up forward.
Ideally, you put him forward again, and at some point, W Dawson and Whitlock slot in to defence.

No we look better with the extra tallCan't play both him and Maley. And on tonight's effort Darling is the one who gets dropped
Can join LMac in the VFL next week
Darling is the product of negligent list management decisions that have taken place over a number of years.Gee. Its almost like those critical of his recruiting could see what our highly paid footy staff couldn't.
A 30 something wasn't going to have a remarkable form reversal, despite the delusions of some on our footy dept.
Well ,Rawling did say preseason that he didn't care of Darling only got four touches a game as he would bring other things. Jack is living up to those lofty ambitions. He wasn't bad last night. He wasn't anything. A complete non-entity. You actually have to do something to be bad. May as well have been sitting up in the stands with me such was his impact on anything.
People going on about how Essendon were short at the end with players off the ground. We were 1 player short all night with one of our players on the ground.
I’m triggered by the fact there is a second year let alone triggers for a thirdWonder what the triggers are for that third year
Rawlings would have hard balled him and said play 10 games in season one and two combinedWonder what the triggers are for that third year
. Pink would have offered more last night in that role. How sad is that?upgrade on sellers as a break glass option but really not seeing a lot of value atm.He served a purpose. And he will again at some point.
Sorry for the intrusion lads, but this here is exactly why we traded him. The bloke is cooked and does hardly anything on game day.He wasn't bad last night. He wasn't anything. A complete non-entity.
woosha24 I wish you had intruded on the meeting when Rawlings and Clarko endorsed this trade. In fact if you sat in on the Caleb Daniel and Zak Fisher trades as well. In fact if you had time the Griffin Logue, Callum Coleman-Jones…………….Sorry for the intrusion lads, but this here is exactly why we traded him. The bloke is cooked and does hardly anything on game day.
If you want someone to mentor younger guys in the side and teach some forward craft then he's ok (not great, not terrible). If however you want someone to stand up in close games like last night, then no chance, he's the definition of a list clogger.
