He can’t do what he use to do but what he does is put his body on the line.
You want to get to the ball - you’ll have to crawl over his limp body

He's still got plent of forward craft. Hope the young guys are picking his brain as much as they can.

This bloke is crucial to our structure.

Works his guts out all game.

Brady cops it a lot but Jack Darling, Dyl Stephens, Luke Parker Tom Blamiers and Cooper Trembath have been pretty shrewd business in the last couple of years.

What a rejuvenation this has been for JD. Looked finished and cooked at west coast. Hope he sticks around for quite a while still
I'm liking how we're managing his game time, no use flogging him. He's running out games very well and seems to lift when the game gets a bit hot.

Nice to see jack going well and glad you North fans are enjoying having JD around

Loved jack at West Coast...very durable player fitness really good...slowed down in the last couple of years for us but still played a role and kicked over 500 goals for us

gun forward in his early years and still contributing..good to see

enjoy North Fans :)

It’s fair to say that he has exceeded all our expectations at this point in time. Proud man and wins makes everything a little easier. I love a JD flip back on his feet. If I tried that, I would end up in traction for 6 weeks.

Comes from his Karate days maybe?

for me, it would be months. Very impressive for a big unit

Love him, fantastic person and player.

Has really bought in and does all the team shit you'd expect in addition to being a great kick and athlete (still). Great person to have around the traps and hope we offer him something post-career so we can extend his and families stay.

Brady has really turned the beat around, Gloria Estefan-styles and fair play to him for it.

He was one of our best players on the weekend. Dunno how good a sign that is to be honest.
I don't think it's an issue, that's 300+ games of experience coming to the fore against a well-drilled opponent. We've got a lot of inexperienced players, by comparison, that's exactly the reason we got him. Trembath will continue to benefit from playing with him for another 18 months and hopefully Souv can learn from him how to deliver in key moments more often.
