The one thing I love is his grit and want to fight.

Not only in the air but once the ball hits the deck he gets after it and his follow up work just makes you warm to him.

The campaigner doesn't give up on the ball until its no where near him and sitting in the stands you cant help but respect the effort.

Just on this he is the reverse Larkey in the contest and when attacking ground ball.

When JD chases and harasses its done with purpose. Sadly I can't recall a time where Nick genuinely was able to nail down an opponent after a contest.

He is up on every stat from last season, except for hit outs (expected and a good thing since we're not running him in the ruck at all).

Good call by whoever it was who said we should recruit him in 2024.

Warrior. Ultimate Shinboner. Not enough superlatives for this bloke. Just gives unconditional effort and every single contest.
Jack Jack Jacky Darling is the 8th wonder, he was deep fried and well done at WCE, wound back the clock again today ... he's an absolute doyen and a marvel.

Nice to have a real leader when all hope seemed lost.

Can't see him involuntarily retiring this year.
still more than half a season to go, the end can come quick for blokes of his vintage. But he could not have done any more in his games so far.
