Could become a handy 35 goal a season fwd with the ability to roam up the ground and become a link up player such is his smarts and ability to read the play.

Have wanted a 'super draft' for the EFC that nets us at least 3, 100+ AFL game players. 2015 could be just that with Redman joining Darcy Parish and Aaron Francis as likely 100+ game AFL players.

I'm encouraged, but lets just take a deep breath first before declaring trade wins..
He hasn't done anything just yet other than show glimpses which i'm pretty sure names like Dyson, Jetta and Slattery all did in their first year..

True...but he's just got something.

From what he's shown, I can't see us losing the trade at all. Based on Melksham's 2014 & 2015 form, and the fact he didn't play in 2016, we're looking like the early winners.

Really looking forward to seeing this kid develop and grow in 2017. With Laverde, Fantasia, Langford we are building quite the arsenal of small/medium sized forwards.

With another pre season or two he should be moving up to the wings but for the time being, be a threat in the front half of the ground.

2017 - A year to build on for Mason. Really tough finding places for everyone. Will need to improve his consistency across 4 quarters to get a look in whilst also impacting the scoreboard more as another factor to consider when pushing for senior selection.
