Good article on Patrick.

Choosing between college or Afl.

I didn’t realise he had done his ACL in the past too.

Below is snippet from above article and it's great to see Shaun Mannagh and Lawson Humphries giving the young boys much encouragement along with some excellent advice through their own personal experiences that can only be beneficial to this young crop of pussy cats.

“But I was very grateful to have my name read out, especially when you’re a back end pick, to have them have their faith in you, it is a pretty special prize.” Mature-age sensations Shaun Mannagh and Lawson Humphries were two players that Geelong from nowhere last year and they have already been a “huge help” for Retschko.

“I have no doubt that out of the group of boys that were picked up this year, that a fair majority of us will hopefully be successful and at the very least put our best step forward,” Retschko said. “Especially with those boys (Mannagh and Humphries) 'guiding us in terms of their journey' and the diverse kind of nature of the group, I think it’s really going to benefit all of us pretty well.”

Cant wait to see him Debut. A cats mate reckons he will be beauty.
Personally, I like him.
But I think that you will have to wait until season 2026, if you want to see him play an AFL game.

Patrick Retschko

Another Cat who produced plenty of brilliant moments in his first year at the club, Retschko impressed with his running capacity and ability to find the football while featuring in all 18 of Geelong's games this season.

Retschko collected 20 disposals or more in 12 different games this season, while also pushing forward to hit the scoreboard on multiple occasions, finishing with 13 goals for the year.

Showing plenty of positive signs, Retschko will be another one for Cats fans to keep an eye on as he heads into his second season at the club.

Patrick has been delisted from the club.

Thought he'd done enough for another look but not to be.

Wish him well
