Probably a good sign for Will as they would have announced it in one batch if both were going. Possibly....

This is my take too.

Rookie list makes total sense.

Add J Mac to the list too. Brad was fond of the St Kevins connection.

Jmac - Scotch
EVW - Melbourne Grammar
WW - Melbourne High
Higgins - St Joeys.

Can't remember the last SKOB tbh.

Still some APS/AGS stock remaining.

Jy and ( Tom Campbell?)- Scotch
Dom and Goldy - Trinity
LDU and Bonar - Haileybury

One year rookie contract would be fair.

Deserves another crack at it. Especially considering how we f’ed up his initial treatment with his PCL injury.

Who was the last senior player demoted to the rookie list that made it back to the senior list? Daw was demoted preceding his legal case, but I can't remember the last player who made it back from an injuries/form demotion.

The vast majority of Victorians go to one of the prestigious private or public high schools who are part of the two main feeder leagues, it is very hard to get recognition outside of that system. Possible but a lot harder. We even see a lot of the country kids now, like Hollands is from Wodonga, went to Caulfield Grammar, still played for the Bushrangers though.

Hayden will.

Brilliant news for Will. And brilliant news for the club. Will just needs a little luck to go his way on the injury front as he clearly has the mindset to leave no stone unturned. Couple that with his clear talent and athletic traits and he’ll be back best 22 by the end of next year.

Big preseason coming up!!!
