I rode that run down tackle on Cerra like Ron Jeremy
Sapped all momentum Carlton had and set up Bobbys goal later on.

I actually thought when he went into the middle it got us going a bit with a point of difference having him in there.
He was dead and gone a few weeks ago. The break has done him a world of good.

Watching the replay.

The shin incident - weird one, Darling notices it, looks at it, sees it's bleeding, puts his hand up and looks directly at the umpire presumably to say it's bleeding, Silvagni looks at the umpire then at Darling and then at the umpire and points at Darling, and the umpire looks at Darling and calls play on. Silvagni kicks it backwards then yells at the umpire and points at Darling again. The umpire does nothing. Silvagni runs forward past the umpire as Darling is slowly walking off the ground and Docherty kicks backwards again. Silvagni runs back past the umpire again and is still trying to point out Darling is in the hands of the trainers and bleeding and only then does the umpire stop play

Laura Kane will have an explanation.

Watch Jack at the start of the team song. No words, just a massive unapologetic grin. 😂😂😂
Yeah, he could put in a bit more effort with that. Only black mark against him.

On the replay last night, you can hear the ump saying wtteo "I can't make that judgement from 20m away" .... well go and have a look you flog.

They're happy to pay free kicks from 50m away when another ump is 5m from the play...

Start of the year he couldn't jump, fumbled, dropped sitters and was slow as a wet week. Id written him off.

His contributions the last month have been huge.

He was flat in that period we were getting flogged earlier in the season but he's been really valuable. Has he freed up Larkey like he was supposed to? Not a chance. It does show we need to prioritise Darling's long term replacement though.
I think that's more on Larkey than him. Souv was averaging three goals a game early in the season, then went down media street.

Has he freed up zurhaar and curtis though? I Think they're benefitting from him being in there but could be way off but happy with the role he's playing for the team.

I didn't mean to infer he wasn't performing a role, hence why I said he had been valuable. More to the point, it's been clear other teams still see the way to shut us down as being via Larkey so a younger strong marking presence there that kicks goals can really add a new dimension to our potential flag winning forward line.

I've been watching Jack D very closely at training & I see absolutely no reason why he was referred to as a "Wild Child". None. Zero. He has been nothing but polite. I actually got him to sign my 1984 Aussie swimming cap that I had signed by Jon Sieben. I bloody love that swimming cap. I occasionally wear it out & about when I wanna throw down the gauntlet to Joe Public. I once saw Joan Kirner at the City Baths in her birthday suit & I screamed "Joan, come have a shot at the title!!!!" She pretended like she didn't know what was going on. I then donned the swimming cap & began loudly singing "Pass the Dutchie on the Left Hand Side". She soon got it. I then set a PB for the 4x100m medley which still stands to this day.

Did you do all four legs of the medley yourself?

The umpire doesn’t need to stop play unless a player needs a stretcher or if the injured player is inside the play and cant move out of the way resulting in further injury. This is not soccer. He had a gash on his leg, he can get himself out of the way.

I thought they had to when a player leaves the ground for the blood rule.
