Oh My God Wow GIF by reactionseditor

Maybe ... let's hope his career tracks like Grimes and it is clean sailing from here on in ... would effectively mean we are adding 3 x top 10 picks to our 2026 side
one of the Ashcroft boys came back beautifully after an ACL....I also remember Treloar when he sprawled over the boundary line and ripped both his hamstrings to the bone and made a full recovery. reckon Gibcus will be fine maybe 4-6 games in he will start having that 100% confidence again like in his first year to start jumping high and fearless in packs again.

years out of the game ~ Cats game he clocked 32.4km/h. equal fastest with MRJ.

2022 he could run 15kms a game.

no lack of speedy talls with Balta, Miller.

Trainor had a very good season..

gunna be a bonus if Gibcus gets back to 2022.
I hope so. He looked so good

Would love to see him play at least 15 games this year. No matter what they gotta take it easy and err on the side of caution, sub him, rest him, low minutes whatever it takes to build his body and confidence up. Hopefully Grimes is his mentor as it'd be great for someone to advise him who's been through the exact same thing. He'll have some quiet and lousy games but the club needs to ride the good with the bad and get another couple seasons into him. During the Werribee VFL game he flew a few times for amazing spoils and a couple of great marks where he seemed to hover. Was awesome when he kicked that goal. This kid could be anything if he gets fit. He's the exact player we'll need to go with your Sam Darcy type forwards for the next decade.

What??
How??
Why??
We invested a top 10 pick in him. He is turning 23 in April. He has only played 21 games. How much longer does this drag on?

Everyone has been patient and the wolves are hounding at the doors.

Its not his fault but it's not anyone elses either. I'm getting fruatrated watching him with fingers crossed and hearing from others that they fear he is always on the edge of potential re-injury. List spots are at a premium.

We can't afford to do this for another season yet again.

Not his fault we picked him in the top 10. Not his fault he has suffered injuries.
He owes us nothing. To say otherwise is ridiculous . It’s not as though he is dogging rehab, smashing piss, being unprofessional.

I hope for his sake he gets back as he is a certified gun. But to say he owes us something is inherently wrong

Owes us zilch.
But you are right on one count, list spots are at a premium.
Another year of injuries and a handful of appearances and you have to look to cut your losses.
Mounting injuries take a toll on confidence and development.
Hopefully he plays a lot more than he misses.

just saw a video of petracca and Josh running together. looking very tall and athletic, such a fine specimen.
just so don't want to spend the year with fingers crossed when ever he is named..
No doubt both Gibcus and Judson have hurt us and our team development, because both should have a position locked down.
So hope the frustrating period is going to clear for Josh and us.
