Hotton could be the most exciting prospect of our 2024 draft influx.
Broad was chatting with trainor on TT about him briefly.
Lalor, Trainor and Armstrong all said Hotton could've easily been pick 1 overall if it wasn't for the ACL
louie will send him back on in his debut game like clarke

This is what concerns me the most about Gibcus.

Considering how bad he hurt his right hamstring and then his right knee, I hope the club has been really strict with making sure his rehab covers all bases.
To me Josh's running style suggested tight hamstrings, not that I would know, it was just a little unusual to me on the eye. I probably sound like captain expert on hindsight

But the way Josh reached out with his legs( with extension almost locking the knee if not doing so), not uncommonly, after jumping high, at different trajectories/angles, it was bound to happen, and if he keep doing it it would happen again. Little surprised someone did not pull him up on it, or maybe they did?

We actually agree on something.
I noticed that too when he did it, thought he was trying to get the umps attention for a push while he was in the air.

Hes actually returning at a perfect time - right when our supporters (and the Footy World in general) are focusing on all our new shining toys that we are rolling out one after another this year. Gibcus can step into the side without all the attention and hopes of the Tigers fans sitting squarely on his shoulders. The other exciting aspect to this timing, is that he is already forming bonds with our talented draftees in rehab and will join the side alone side them, coming through riding the same wave.

He has the support of our strongest 'team' on the ground, the backline, and even has another up and coming defender taking the pressure off him.

Couldn't have asked for a better runway to take off from.

This would be exactly what is happening. Still won’t be good enough for plenty who were whinging a few weeks back that he isn’t back yet
