Maybe but the way I see it, he gets another preseason under his belt so if he was to get injured then we know that perhaps his body isn't right to play AFL. This one-off game, i just want to see him get through it now, i don't care if he doesn't get a stat.

He's as much chance of breaking down up top as VFL, so it doesn't hurt to play him. Touch wood.

Maybe it’s because I am an optimist by nature but I think it’s a great call

He would of been playing VFL anyway so the risk of injury would be the same

Lets him finish the season on a high note to build on going into next year and the pre season

Of course given his injury history I don’t think I’ll ever be completely relaxed when he’s near the ball but overall the positives are there
