Welcome (back) to Essendon, Mitch Brown!

Once again thanks to Knightmare for the following:
41. Mitch Brown (VIC – KPP)
Height: 196cm, Weight: 93kg, DOB: 28/08/1990
Recruited from: Sandringham (VFL)
Reminds me of: Lachie Henderson
Brief bio: Previous Geelong first round selection has after showing promise with Essendon during the NAB Challenge put together a strong season and has put his name forward as a ready to play key position player. Brown can play either back or forward to a strong standard and present at least solid AFL depth at any key position slot.

Listened to his dad speak earlier in the year, if his son is anything like him we've got a good one.

If Woosha's word is true, then Hooker goes back permanently and Brown now swings forward and back.

Has the ability and the tank - just hope his run with good fitness continues.

Really happy with this pickup. I was getting a bit concerned that we had no talls after our first 4 picks. I think picking up 2 experienced state key position players was a really smart move. I've been bleating on about how we have the quality in our talls in Hurley/Hooker and Daniher but we really needed depth whereas we needed quality in our smalls big time. That's not to say that Brown can't be quality anyway.
