Will has all the tools to do well; height, strength, spring, speed, quality disposal and an understanding of our game plan. Just needs to adjust to the higher pressure of seniors.

Well done Will. You have worked hard for this.
I like strong fast tacklers.

Just wait when Errol’s back !

Delighted for Will! He's worked long and hard for this, gradually adding more weapons to his size, strength and speed. His form in the 2s this year has been excellent. Well deserved opportunity! Fingers crossed he manages the transition to seniors. He'll have a good crew around him.

I'm really pleased we are actually giving a couple of players their debuts. Don't want them just stuck in the ressies forever - kudos to the match committee for these selections.

I wonder if this and Cootee are part of a long term plan involving them and others or more opportunistic. Don't mind either but generational change and list improvement are terrifically important and I get the feeling we're getting better at it, or at worst, luckier.
I believe we have quality replacements for Lloyd, Cunningham and Rampe (though not his leadership) as well as some interesting possibilities in Kyle and King plus it looks as if our depth is actually improving. ✅

Loved what I saw of him vs Curnow in the pre-season - one of the few players not dwarfed by CC!

Feels a little weird as I get the feeling he was cloned in the Academy incubator expressly for the desire to take on the monsters, and he debuts when the prototype goes down. But Croft and their other young talls look a better match up for a debutant in any event.

I have said in other posts that I consider him one of the biggest drop punt kicks I have ever seen - especially when balanced and on the move. Not sure what Hamling did wrong but good luck to Will!

That reminds me, what has happened to Endemann this season? I don’t think he’s on our VFL list. He was no world beater but had been showing steady improvement across the seasons he did play for us.
His PlayHQ profile shows he is playing for the Turvey Park Bulldogs in the Riverina Football League. Harry Cunningham's junior club.
