Okay cool. If you happy for guys to go around slapping/punching people in the face cool. Don't complain when Crowley slaps him next time we play freo.

What he did was stupid and not needed.
He didn't connect with the face. He hit Selwood in the arm just above the elbow. Selwood grabbed his face playing for a free kick. Quivorir deserves a red card for falling for the play acting. Glad you're not on the MRP.

Selwood stayed down for about a minute, the bloke Ziebell bumped when trying to smother got straight up and ran off for an interchange. Which contact had more force? Apparently JZ's. ******* jokers.
But Jack didn't "brace" for contact, therefore guilty as sin

That'll be kerridge for the perrie.
Cant believe he kicked 6 then was playing SANFL Reserves a month later. Spud isnt suited to the fast track at Etihad anymore. Too zippy for him.
He is the opposite of LA 2012. Spud. Play anywhere but Etihad. LA. Play nowhere but Etihad.

What did the medical report say with the Stevie J hit? Fractured cheekbone, 12 stitches to the face?
Given it's a Ross Lyon coached team, it may have said "mental scarring, dented self belief and severe lack of confidence following the incident. Having trouble sleeping."

Dal Santo is playing a very similar role to the one Sam Mitchell had in 2013 and will probably poll similar numbers.

Midfielders who kick goals are the ones that get votes……that's Boomer.

Boomer - 12-9
Ablett - 20-3

Boomer usually polls well, but unless a suspension/injury occurs Ablett is taking home the silverware.

Boomer has been runners up and 3rd hasnt he? Must be up there in all time votes as well after 370 odd games?

Harvey's a huge chance for best of the rest, he'd probably be on 10 votes already. From here it looks like we'll win at least another 8 games, with a few of them big wins.

A bit of slap and tickle without the tickle. Silly, yes. Worthy of a suspension, no.

I'd much prefer he didn't subject us to the tense Monday wait for MRP findings though. It's unnecessary.
I loved it to be honest, little Boomer all 4'6 of him slapping Selwood around... i had a Laaff

Official results have come through : Boomer Cleared

Contact between North Melbourne’s Brent Harvey and the West Coast Eagles’ Scott Selwood from the second quarter of Sunday’s match was assessed. After viewing all available footage and receiving a medical report from the West Coast Eagles Football Club, it was the view of the panel that Selwood actually deserved the whack to the chops that he received.
