His legacy will leave North in a good space, better than any coach, the workrate and attention to detail has a positive effect on all the younger guys, straight into the hall of fame.

He did it again. Has to be close to 3 votes in that one. Watching him make Houli crap his dacks one out in the goal square was quality viewing...

I actually reckon this is his best season yet.

Statistically he's never played this well in his career. Averaging more possessions, kicks and handballs then in any other year and at the ripe old age of 36 ffs.
Beating taggers too. 2-3 years ago and he'd have gotten 10 touches against Crowley and Selwood and cracked the sads.

EDIT - already been covered I see.

I loved it. He's a genius when he's one on one and Houli was no match for him, but I can't help but want to see him up the ground. In future this is certainly the role he will play but whilst the speed is still there and the body is still strong id still love him in the middle.

Where would you rather see him spend most of his time?

If he spends majority of his time at full forward and kicks 3 goals 2 and still manages 25 possesions, I have no problem.

When he's putting up those numbers, he can play wherever the f*** he wants, or wherever the f*** Scott wants him. He's an absolute machine anywhere on the ground.

You should all remember one of Boomer's trademark runs last Sunday, which started with a semi dodgy handball that looked like it bounced straight back to him from one of our players. Commentators mentioned the "lucky" break, but never bothered to replay it. I watched it in slow motion afterwards, and I reckon it was 100% clear that Goldy actually meant to tap it back to Boomer. This play deserved more attention on footy shows, but not sure if it got any.

Maybe GR or somebody could find YouTube footage of it? If this has already been done and I missed it, apologies.

Serious question. Is Boomer currently playing his best footy?

Whilst never being a contested beast, he seems to now be winning more contested possessions and also tackling more. I do not have stats to back this up but that is the impression that i get.

On the outside however. there is not a better player in the league IMO.
