Hate to bump this thread cause I made it!

But he is a star, seeing very few games a year. What he produced tonight made me appreciate him even more!

We are witnessing more than a legend!

I thought tonight was the best defensive game I've seen Boomer play. Was fantastic offensively - again - but I've never seen him busting a gut in the last line of defense as often as he did tonight.

Boomer a massive show IMO now. We've got plenty of 'easy' games coming up for him to cash in on and his run and flair has caught the umpires' eye in past counts.

Pendles/Beams and JPK/Buddy/rest of Sydney's guns could sabotage each other to an extent. Non-mids never win so no Sandi or Buddy. Priddis and Cotchin haven't been in enough wins. Main competition from Selwood and Boak.

Boomer paying $23
NDS $41
Cunners $251

Ablett at $6.50 is great value. He would have 9 best on grounds already plus a few seconds. Just depends on how the umpires vote considering he won it last year & what would be a great game for most players can be just 'average' for him with 33 possessions & a couple of goals.

Few of his big games have been in loses though. I'd say he's got 6-7 BOGs and a few 2s and 1s. Winners lately have close to 30 votes, don't think it will be enough.

NDS came in from $150 during pre season to now $41... Hopefully he puts in some great performances bc umps usually vote for him and i will be a very happy man.

3 votes vs the dogs in round 2
2 votes vs port in round 3 (gave the 3 to cunners)
3 votes vs freo in round 6
3 votes vs lions in round 9
3 votes vs tigers in round 12
2 votes vs crows in round 13
1 vote vs demons in round 14
Pretty reasonable mate, guess it just depends what the umpires say. Yours is probably a best case scenario as the umps usually screw up a game or two. Reckon he'll be lucky to get 2 for the Crows game but he could grab a vote from the Hawks game.

Dal Santo will not get near it. Midfielders playing in the backline isn't the formula for Brownlow votes. When he was getting votes at St Kilda he was playing purely midfield and kicking the occasional goal.

Boomer is our best chance and a proven vote getter.

I think Kennedy will win it…….Gray as a smoky.
