Chris Judd elbowed a guy in the face and still won.
Don't think anyone but Carlton fans agree with that.

I think the rising star was the one he was robbed of. I remember Corey on Open Mike watching the kneeing incident back and agreeing it would probably still be a suspension today.

Yeh we are talking about Umpires who didn't even know Daniel Wells last year.

I would expect Greeny Pig to get some unexpected votes out of his sheer effort around the stoppages where Umpires apparently look.

Just let it sink in. That a 36-year-old who still cops critcism from the media and is not seen by some people as the superstar he should be. Is in contention for a brownlow medal.

If he won it, omg if he won it. I just like imagining it because it would change everyone's view who's had some doubt of the little champion.

Just imagine it right now.

"I declare the winner of the 2015 Brownlow Medal, Brent Harvey of the North Melbourne football club."

Let's not forget the interview after that though with Bruce.

"So Boomer, obvioulsy you can't have a few drinks tonight with your big game this week that obviously will mean a lot more to you."

Then Boomer responds with what we've all heard before.

"That's it Bruce, I just want to play in another premiership, if I could do that I'd be one happy person. I get that chance this week."

Sorry for ranting, the thought of it is just so good...

I love Boomer and had this thought earlier this year, but I feel like he's gone missing too often, when it's on he'll get 3 votes but he's very much happy to let other stars shine too. He should be our top player but I think it's a bit much to ask for a Brownlow, I'll be stoked with a top 3. Despite that, a Brownlow to Boomer, couldn't ask for anything better.

Even if Boomer wins the Brownlow, the comments will still come thick and fast that North are still reliant on their oldest player...regardless of the fact that he would effectively be being voted the best in the bloody league for the year.

If we finish 4-6 and he wins the brownlow, what do they say then? We rely on Boomer? So he single-handedly got us to that position?

If they say that, I'll just say I guess he's the greatest ever then. Even Judd couldn't get the Blues to where Boomer has when he won the Brownlow, if they are gonna go with this one man team crap.

Boomer a massive show IMO now. We've got plenty of 'easy' games coming up for him to cash in on and his run and flair has caught the umpires' eye in past counts.

Pendles/Beams and JPK/Buddy/rest of Sydney's guns could sabotage each other to an extent. Non-mids never win so no Sandi or Buddy. Priddis and Cotchin haven't been in enough wins. Main competition from Selwood and Boak.
I don't think Boomer is suddenly gonna pop up and win a Brownlow at 36yo, he would have done it already if he was going to, NDS will poll votes but couldnt honestly say he has been the standout player of 2014!

Levi Greenwood is my smokie (perhaps the Syd Barker-Brownlow double), has been super-consistent and is always in the contest:thumbsu:
