excuse my ignorance, but how did boomer get named to our team of the century? I wasnt old enough to see him play back then but were his first 5 years THAT good?
You're pretty much on the money.

It was an odd move made by Brayshaw to pop him in the team retrospectively. Not exactly sure why it was done.

As for the here and now, if Shaun Higgins fires it may really help boomer as both would be expected to rotate between the forward line and providing some linking up through the middle.

Boomer won an EJ Whitten Medal in 1999 playing in a side with names such as Chris Grant, Lloyd, Silvagni, Kouta, West etc.
And what a ripper game that was in the wet.

But how did that actually happen? Has he actually grown at the age of 37? Is that possible?
The article says he was listed at 167cm, was changed to 172cm halfway through last year and is now going into 2015 at 175cm.

However I'm nearly certain that he was listed at 172cm at some stage before last year. It's pretty bizarre, especially when there's an 8cm gap between his supposed former and current height.

Boomer apparently grew 8 centimeters (3 inches) in one year. Can someone explain how a 36 year old grows that much?? What has he been eating??

I think our fitness guy is just having a bit of fun. I also read once that Matty Campbell was actually shorter than Boomer but North fudged the measurements so Boomer would still be the shortest player in the league

Provided Boomer plays every game this year and signs on once again for 2016:

01: Brent Harvey.
02: Michael Tuck.
03: Dustin Fletcher.
04: Kevin Bartlett.
05: Adam Goodes.
06: Robert Harvey.
07: Simon Madden.

Got a feeling that Boomer will kick more goal in a season than he's ever done but his possession count won't be as high.

500 touches, 40+ goals with 15 of those being long running goals.
