The article says he was listed at 167cm, was changed to 172cm halfway through last year and is now going into 2015 at 175cm.

However I'm nearly certain that he was listed at 172cm at some stage before last year. It's pretty bizarre, especially when there's an 8cm gap between his supposed former and current height.
Yeah last century......literally!

I hope the AFL have something special planned. By the end of 2015, only four players will have played 400. The next will definitely be Lance Franklin when he plays his ninth year of his contract, and his 19th season overall.

What about Goodes, Pav, Cornes and Nicky Dal?

Pavlich has a while to go yet and he's already 32. Cornes hasn't even hit 300 yet. And if Goodes gets to 400, it'll be a shame because he'll only get there on the back of his own ego. He was awful for most of last year.

I have a strong feeling that NDS will one of those rare old age players. The guy has never really been injured ever and plays a predominantly outside role. With Boomer as a role model I feel like he could keep going and going. Wells, Firrito, Petrie and Waite to me don't look like they will be able to do it; they will all retire over the next two (at a big stretch three seasons). But I have a feeling about Dal.

For extremely selfish reason
(out of the country from rounds 13-20), I would appreciate it if he played his 400ths in round 21. Not asking too much am I?

Most of this will not be a surprise to most who watch Boomer

http://www.nmfc.com.au/news/2015-02-03/the-stats-dont-lie

- From 2005 to 2014, Harvey has played 213 of a possible 229 games in North colours.
- In that time, he has amassed 5,044 disposals at an average of 23.7 per game, with less than 10 possessions in just two games.
- In the last decade, Harvey has kicked 252 goals at an average of 25.2 per season, with Drew Petrie the only North player ahead of him.
Only 14 permanent forwards, as well as Gary Ablett, Paul Chapman, Adam Goodes and Steve Johnson have registered more goals.
- Harvey sits 16th for scoreboard impact across the league between 2005-2014, and number one of those players classified as midfielders. Remarkably he has either scored or assisted in 2,883 points.
- Harvey leads the league for total scoring assists over the last decade (329).
- Harvey’s kicking efficiency of 72.4 per cent across the 10 seasons makes him the most accurate of any midfielder in Champion Data’s Team of the Decade.

But he's still overrated, short, temperamental, and a downhill skier unlike any other in the history of the comp. His only claims to fame are his age and game count. Even then, Fletcher is considered more valuable.

[/vent]

He should also be stepping aside for younger players.

Is North your second team, Redman or do you just like it around here?

Because of Aaron Mullett, yes but I have opinions on all teams.

Plus, I like to try and engage in banter and contribute to sarcastic comments that I understand.

Also, I find the North Board to be that bit more convivial compared to other boards.

I was taking the piss. Anyone who believes Franklin will play that long probably also believes in the Easter Bunny and the tooth fairy.
What are you saying?... they're not real?..

Fishy, quick becoming the forgotten man at North after his excellent '13. Watched the second half of the rd 22 game vs Adelaide today and their was a pivotal moment where he got a handball receive on the HBF under pressure from two Crows (Walker and someone else) most other players (and maybe even him usually) would have taken the hit or tried to dish a handball OOB but Fishy went inside, strode past both of them, put some distance from them and executed a perfect pass up field. So much talent, really glad we didn't trade him last year because I see him as an important part of our team going forward, could be a great winger.

Where his permanent position should be for a season or 2 in the future.

I'll tell you this, his kicking motion, which is very penetrating, has not changed one bit since Year 8.

**** you for making me feel stupid for having to look up what 'convivial' means.
