Rest him once in first 17 rd's for a date with Carlton at Etihad rd18 (Away game) OR
Rest him twice for a chance to fill the "G" for the great little man against Melbourne (Also Away)

Come on NMFC let's make this as big as possible for our favourite son 400 games is the biggest effort by an individual ever in our history.

In the backline again this week... not a fan of this experiment. We need him up forward creating scoring opportunities and finishing off plays, especially with Wells and Dal out.

Crap users and decision makers behind the footy is the reason why Harvey is spending time down back.
This. So often we turn the ball ovber coming out of our defensive 50, but with Boomer rarely does. I don't mind him down back but it does take away a major strength of our with his delivery inside 50 and his goalkicking ability.

Not quite as dangerous in the back line as he is in the middle or up forward, but he is still as creative as ever and you always feel safe with the ball in his hands.

The same crap users that were there last season. Boomer is our most damaging midfielder forward of centre, he is such a waste down back! Yes its 'safe' but its rediculous imho. Maybe the Suns should put Ablett down at HBF for safety? He is about the only midfielder who is close to Boomer for damage done in the forward half.

Just giving you the reason why and in actual fact I don't mind it.

Kicking goals isn't our problem, getting scored against from turnovers is. With Wells and Dal out, its not a bad move to get a good decision maker/ball user off half back.

And yes you're right its the same crap decision makers and ball users that cost us wins last year.

Robbing Peter to pay Paul... The turnovers are coming in the forward line when we have the crap decision makers bombing it in to no one.

Completely disagree.

The turnovers are coming in the forward half because of the disposal and the decision making off half back and through the midfield eg: Atley, McDonald, Swallow Cunnington, Jacobs, Gibson

Scott doesn't make it any easier by letting a loose back, but we need to get better coming out of defence and delivering the ball into the forward half.

I dont understand what you are disagreeing with? Yes, i agree the turnovers are from shit users of the ball kicking it in, so lets get Boomer on the end of it to deliver i50. No one has hit our forwards on the tit more often, but we now have him hitting the likes of Gibbo, Swallow and Basti on the tit...

So doesn't he solve half the problem because the guys down back can't do that?

Or play him in Brisbane to help overcome our terrible record there AND have a celebration in Melbourne the following week.

He had what, 24 possies on the weekend?

Magnificent user still.

Slightly, ever so slightly off so far this year. But he's still ahead of the average player on our list, which is freakish

Still playing well, more of a cameo now, but i think he will step up next few weeks with others out.

Him in the back half is understandable, but not ideal, we need him churping around the goals...

He doesn't look like he's enjoying his footy at the moment. I wonder how he feels about having to play the rebounding defender role? Not the way he would have liked to finish his career IMO.

I would much prefer him around the goals.
Hopefully Scott puts him there when we get Dal Santo, Wells or even Mullett back.

He's still got his pace, burned off Hill last night so no issues there.
