Not engaging in the link play at all in this game, just trying (really poorly) to stand under the marking player in case it falls to him. Back to the VFL.

Rapt with Pols’ game tonight. Has been copping shit from opposition supporting campaigners all year so here’s hoping it’s the beginning of the lad sticking it up ‘em.
Sadly, hasn't only been opposition supporters...

Won't come up on the stats sheet, or the tv screen a lot of the time for that matter, but he is our one forward who consistently chases and pressures the opposition coming out of defence.

Saved his best for last.

Has a bit of Zac Fisher 2018 about him, playing forward, not getting a lot of the ball but quick and manic at the contest.
Great comparison.

Hopefully 2019 Polson ‘does a Fisher’ and lifts his numbers by a cheeky 70%...

Excited to see what Cam can do next season.

has a lot of pace and has laid some important tackles for us forward
his pressure is actually quite good...
if his confidence/efficiency went up he could become an asset.......can he rotate through midfiled with experience?

i think he might have already decided a future for himself at the club..

His confidence and efficiency will rise when he feels like he belongs out there. He's still panics a bit around goals but i thought he took a big step forward last night.

It appeared as though last night a few of his strengths managed to finally gel together in a game.

Has had games where his pressure has been great but hasn't gotten the ball. Has games where he got a little more of it and butchered it.

Last night his pressure led to tackles, in some cases lead to free kicks and more possession of the ball and that lead to better disposal and even a couple of goals.

Great example of what we are working on across the list. Even some smaller fellas need time to get it going.
