Disclaimer: I'm terrible at this.

But yes, why not? What has Cunners done to stake a claim on a round 1 spot? More than Polson? Yeah, fair enough, but now I'm just arguing with myself.
I stand by it, but there's still a lot of track work and NAB games to go and much can change.
Being our best pressure act player after 3 games. that's what last quarter of his last game 6 disposals for 6 inside 50s. Cuningham's ahead

there are no other teams worthy
Wouldn't be shocked if Silvagni noticed him in a game Jack was playing. If he won the B&F at Haileybury, he was playing in the 1sts team, and might have played against Jack (who played most of the season for Xavier from memory).
I believe that even after just one quarter of him, SOS was sold.

You're probably right that he's ahead, even if just due to the fact that he has played some senior games, but I still don't think that Cuningham has done enough to claim a spot for round 1 yet. I don't think he's far enough ahead that a good preseason and some positive NAB output could give Polson the slight nod if the MC saw fit.
That's not intended as a slight on Cunners because I never brought him up and had no intention of comparing them. Just have a feeling about Polson, that's all.

Cunningham was very impressive late in season after missing a lot of football. If he can get a full pre season he will play most games. Looking forward to seeing him along w Polson SPS Fisher & Charlie all spending significant time through the middle. I see them all more as mids who can go forward rather than the other way around. Along w Cripps Murphy Pickett Palmer & Gibbs it could be a very dangerous group of goalkicking midfielders. All can kick multiples and hard to stop. Exciting

Almost a bit Ben Cousins like in the way he moves. Love how he's always looking to receive the ball back & link up multiples times in the same passage of play. Very quick, he sure does look a player.

EDIT: I see Stig O'Hara already beat me to the Cousins comparison, glad someone else can see it.
