How's his form in the twos? Any chance of being picked in the near future?
Made his VFL debut on the weekend - finished up with 28 disposals and was named in our best.

Wouldn't completely surprise if we see that performance rewarded with a senior debut this weekend against the Suns.

Closed roof at Etihad would suit him. Id bring him in.

Love this kid - hoping he cracks in and adjusts to the pace, which I'm sure he will. Will be another that makes the rest of the comp rue for not taking at the draft (especially the Cats).

Good luck CamPo!

I liked his game against Port Melbourne and thought he'd get a game last week. Hopefully he conquers his nerves and shows us his skill and decision making around the clearances.

Started well with 6 disposals in Q1 and that nice chase down tackle.

Faded significantly, as would be expected in 1st game and getting belted.

Still managed 23 pressure acts, good for 3rd on the team behind Cripps and Gibbs. SPS had 22.

These kids lack fitness obviously but I like their endeavour to pressure and actually have a defensive aspect to their game.

Would be good to get games into him as there is plenty to work with. A bit too much alike for Fisher to have them both play forward/on ball and I think that we have a need to another big body in the midfield rotation (Kerridge/Palmer/Cuningham) that will get 20+ posessions, and I have Fisher ahead of him at the moment. Is there a place for him down back to pick up the small forwards, find out how good forwards run their patterns and use the ball well coming out from defence. Our backline has a "size sameness" at the moment, we need to find a Simmo replacement (and he might give us more from a wing now). From what I have seen from Polson he is combative and hates getting beaten.

Where do you get your pressure act stats?

Cameron has the attributes to become a regular AFL player with footy smarts being his major asset.
Just seems to make his way into good positions around the ground and at stoppages. Helps that he knows how to find the goals, also.

I really like his work inside heavy traffic as he just finds way of connecting to the ball to get it out of congestion.
The ball doesn't always make its way to desired targets, but the fact that he's all over it will hold him in good stead.

Would be a massive boost to find two AFL-quality mids in Cuningham and Polson to support Cripps around stoppages and take over from Murphy and Gibbs.

Both are quick, strong in traffic, clean with the football and have neat skills.

Polson seems to be the greater ball-winner.

You don't have to be 190+ to be strong enough to get the ball out of stoppages.

Watched Polson closely yesterday and loved his work in tight.
His arms and legs were going everywhere but with purpose, looking for a tap to advantage or a toe-poke to a player on the outside.

Those littler things really impress me.

Agree. He was protected a bit last year by coaches. Had little football over last two years and had a couple of ops/injuries. Last year was a learning year physically and mentally for him. Very smart player. Patience
